Quattro Professional Services in Ajijic

There was a healthy response to the recent photo contest sponsored by the Quattro Gallery in Ajijic.

Fifty-six photographs were submitted to the contest entitled “La Vida en Chapala” (Life in Chapala). Prizes were awarded in two categories: amateur and professional. The criteria for judging were technique, presentation of the print, quality, expression and creativity. Also important was adherence to the theme. Judges said they were also impressed with the quality of some of the black-and-white prints submitted. But as black-and-white photography was not listed as part of the competition, these prints did not receive prizes. See www.quattroajijic.com for winning photos.
