In this photo you see a interesting sign. At least it was to me. Now if you want a free eye examination this is for you and while you’re at it if you have any skin problems, nervousness, insomnia, menopause, pimples, colds moles, the heart break of or sore toes those can be fixed as well, this guy can cure it all or certainly the sign leaves you be believe that. Reminds me of Dr Honky Tonks magic cure from years ago but lets not go into that right now. Just in case any of you have these or any of these maladies, come on down, the cure is here!!!
Here we have this lovely damsel who proudly posed for me outside of the Lake Chapala Society compound . She and I were harassing the gentlemen who hangs around outside the compound several days a week selling Rolex knock offs. Speaks no English, mainly he says Los Canadians son Cheapo's. To those that can't divine that message he says "The Canadians are cheap". And of course he has a few other choice adjectives he uses as well. Anyway he is fun to play with and that lady, whoever she is, joins in giving him a hard time. I asked if this was his girlfriend and he said some mighty unflattering words to me. She cackled like the infamous old crone and said some sweet words to him about his ability to charm customers and probably had the same luck with the women. It is fun listening to this kind of chatter all done in good humor.
Last week we went out to Rancho Indio just west of Ajijic and met Ann Poucher(no picture). A nice little lady from South Carolina who gives riding lessons and trains and boards horses. Mostly her hired hand Jose does that work. They teach horses to do that dance. (Gotta have one)
