A Lakeside community choir, Los Cantantes is made up of nearly 70 voices, Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. The choir truly represents the international nature of their community: choir members hail from Mexico, Canada, the USA, and several European countries.

Los Cantantes has performed widely, in Greece and Turkey in 2005, in Quito, Ecuador in 2007 at the invitation of La Fundación Teatro Nacional Sucre, and the Third Festival Internacional de Canto Coral.

In 2009, Los Cantantes toured throughout Central Mexico, giving six concerts in major cities. In the spirit of “bringing music to the people,” the choir visited several rural Mexican hamlets where they sang to appreciative audiences who had never before listened to live music.
